Flames Of Levi Website Redesign

Project Overview

I redesigned the Flames of Levi website with the goal of improving usability, clarifying the site structure, and creating a more visually appealing experience that better reflects the brand and its services.

Starting Point / The Problem

The original website was unfinished and built on what appeared to be a generic hotel template, complete with a mismatched "Hotel Royal" logo and stock imagery of a hotel room. It communicated nothing about Lapland, the brand's identity, or the unique experience guests could expect. For a luxury cabin rental, first impressions matter enormously, and the old site was losing potential bookings before visitors even scrolled.

My Process

I started by auditing the existing site and identifying the gaps. I benchmarked luxury travel and Lapland accommodation sites to understand what emotional quality the design needed to achieve. I then worked closely with the client to define the brand values - Luxury. Nature. Serenity. — and used these as the foundation for every design decision.

The Solution The most impactful change was building the right atmosphere from the first pixel. New color palette, typography, and photography choices now immediately communicate the stillness of a frozen lake and the warmth of a cabin fire. I also restructured the layout so users are guided naturally through both properties - Villa Flamia and Apartment Flamia - and straight to booking. The site is fully optimized for mobile as well.

The Result The redesigned site finally matches the quality of the experience it's selling — a complete transformation from a placeholder template to an authentic luxury brand presence.
